Job description
Responsible for the general housekeeping and maintenance of office and shop areas.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Keeps flooring free of all foreign debris by vacuuming, sweeping and moping
- Empties and removes all waste from receptacles daily
- Cleans and stocks restrooms with necessary paper and cleansing products
- Replaces broken or non-working lighting
- Makes pickups and deliveries as needed
- Any additional duties assigned by management
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to operate a Hi-Lo
- Washing and clean windows and mirrors
- Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment
- This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22.C.F.R. § is required

- While performing the duties of this job, employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes and airborne particles
- The employee may be exposed to vibration
- The employee is occasionally exposed to caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- May be required to work weekends to meet department and business demands
- Work with safe manufacturing processes and understanding that eyewear is mandatory in the manufacturing area
- Knows that safety shoes are recommended in the manufacturing area

- Must be able to lift and move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift and move objects up to 50lbs.
