Job description

Responsible for the general housekeeping and maintenance of office and shop areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Keeps flooring free of all foreign debris by vacuuming, sweeping and moping
• Empties and removes all waste from receptacles daily
• Cleans and stocks restrooms with necessary paper and cleansing products
• Replaces broken or non-working lighting
• Makes pickups and deliveries as needed
• Any additional duties assigned by management

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to operate a Hi-Lo
• Washing and clean windows and mirrors
• Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment
• This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22.C.F.R. § is required

• While performing the duties of this job, employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes and airborne particles
• The employee may be exposed to vibration
• The employee is occasionally exposed to caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
• May be required to work weekends to meet department and business demands
• Work with safe manufacturing processes and understanding that eyewear is mandatory in the manufacturing area
• Knows that safety shoes are recommended in the manufacturing area

• Must be able to frequently walk & stand for short periods of time
• Must be able to lift and move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift and move objects up to 50lbs.
