As a Maintenance Mechanic , you will be a critical part of the production team, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are performing at top-notch! Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on belts, piping, filters, mixers, valves, bearings, mechanical seals, and pumps.
• Troubleshoot and proof test equipment as necessary to solve problems and proactively prevent them.
• Install, test, and maintain control devices, pressure-sensing units, and flow measuring devices.
• Work from detailed technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
• Work independently under limited supervision (self-management).
• Perform documentation of work schedule and work tasks completed.
• Basic welding and fabrication.
• Perform general housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret and understand technical documents and drawings of plant equipment.
• Ability to perform confined space entry and work at heights.
• The position requires frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling.
• The position may require weekend work.
• Experience using hand tools and power hand tools.
• Basic PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel software.
• Two years technical training with state-of-the-art maintenance practices preferred.
• 3-5 years in mechanical maintenance or related skills preferred.
• Electrical experience/background is strongly preferred.
