The goal of this highly motivated and energetic professional is to ensure production equipment is functioning properly during use, is quickly repaired using logical and systematic troubleshooting methods, and is affectively maintained through preventive/predictive maintenance activities and continuous improvement.

Location: Waterloo, IN

Wednesday-Saturday (Wed: 12P-6P.....Thur-Sat 6am-6pm)

+$6/hr shift differential for Friday and Saturdays!

Overtime eligible!

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and repairing PLC controlled electronics, electrical systems, automated machines, motors, conveyers, hydraulic or pneumatic systems and other manufacturing equipment using both standard and specialized hand/power tools (ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, welder, cutting torch, machining, etc.)
• Strong Electrical, Mechanical, PLC systems knowledge
• Perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems (involves circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, VFDs, servo drives, etc.), mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic

• Design, fabrication, welding, machining, and repairing parts for projects, equipment repair or modifications, and maintenance work orders.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ previous experience working in a manufacturing, industrial or similar environment
• Experience working on electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, compressors and pneumatics.
• Ability to operate cranes, forklifts and aerial manlifts.
• Welding Experience (Stick, MIG or TIG)
• Electrical certifications, Associates Degree or higher is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts (e.g. – 3 scheduled days On, 4 scheduled days Off)
• Goal oriented; takes the initiative to perform and deliver results
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Intermediate computer skills.
