Full-Time Maintenance Position

Matanzas Shores Owner’s Association is looking for a reliable, skilled maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep tasks throughout our facility. This position is responsible for keeping the common amenities, restrooms, and support office on the property clean and in working order, notifying management when something needs replacement or fixing. (Beach Club, Library, Sports Club, Boat Club, Wastewater Treatment Plant, 2 Guard Houses) it is also responsible for assisting the Maintenance Supervisor with minor property maintenance tasks as needed.

Maintenance Work Duties and Responsibilities:

Vacuuming, or sweeping the club houses and all offices daily, including kitchens and bathrooms.

Dusting furniture and polishing as needed.

Cleaning carpeted areas monthly, or more frequently as needed.

Emptying trash, replenishing paper towels, toilet paper and soap as needed.

Cleaning and arranging furniture on the (2) pool decks daily.

Washing all tile floors in bathrooms, kitchens, offices (including guard buildings) or clubhouses daily.

Cleaning all toilets, sinks and microwaves daily.

Cleaning out refrigerators weekly (except in guard houses).

Sweeping and keeping the pool areas, gazebos, beach walkovers, benches at all locations and dock clean, free of plant growth and making sure everything is in working order.

Emptying dog poop stations weekly (more frequently during high occupancy)

Clean lanterns at Beach Club and Rec Center monthly

Clean out debris at the lake outflow

Set up room for MSOA board meeting

Light Painting

Landscaping

Light Carpentry

Ability to lift 50 lbs.
