The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $105,000 and $135,000/year*

Role Description / Areas of responsibility:

The job involves assisting the Legal Entity Market Risk Manager with US Regulatory matters and Market risk management of US legal entities

• Daily market risk monitoring of exposures (VaR, Capital, Sensitivities and Stress) across rates, credit, equities, and securitized products
• Engage with other risk departments (Credit Risk, Regulatory Risk, Operational Risk, Internal Audit) regarding all legal entity risk issues
• Work with senior risk managers globally to manage market risk guideline and limit utilizations
• Preparation of Market Risk Governance presentations for regulatory bodies.
• Participate in strategic projects in Market Risk (Requirements, UAT, Prototyping)
• Ad Hoc Analysis; capital explains/drivers.

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required

• Bachelor's degree, or preferably Masters, in either Finance, Economics, Engineering or Business
• 2-3 years of market risk experience, preferably working as a junior market risk manager
• Strong Analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills both written/verbal is a must.
• Understanding of financial products.
• Basel 2.5/3 and FRTB knowledge
• Strong team player.
• Experience working with various stakeholders including IT, Change management etc. would be advantageous Knowledge of MS Power BI, Alteryx, Excel (including VBA Macros), Business Objects, SQL and Python/R would also be a plus.
