TWO MEN AND A TRUCK
®, a ServiceMaster Brands company is currently looking for a
Marketing Intelligence Analyst to drive change for the marketing department through the influence of
analytics and data insight capabilities. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to support organizational decision-making through complex analysis, reporting, research, and effective use of data generated from internal and external information systems.
What you'll do:
- Support marketing initiatives across channels, including but not limited to SEO, Paid Search, Social and Traditional, by identifying key trends, opportunities, and risks in big data that can drive growth for our franchises.
- Conduct location assessments by analyzing historical marketing data, market trends, and shifts in revenue, and leveraging behavioral analytics to identify opportunities for growth and articulate data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders and franchisees.
- Identify actionable issues through data interpretation and research.
- Extract and analyze data from disparate data sources, including databases, manual files, and external websites, in developing analysis, insights, and recommendations.
- Execute queries across multiple data sources in support of marketing reports and dashboard needs. Validate data integrity in all analyses performed.
- Seek out, identify, document, and initiate resolutions to data quality issues that are discovered during report and analysis development.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to track key performance indicators and effectively communicate trends.
- Effectively scope, size, and plan the development of analytical solutions and set expectations accordingly.
- Identify and monitor competitors and research market conditions or changes in the industry that may affect marketing tactics and sales.
- Conduct consumer surveys, analyze results, and present findings across the organization.
- Initiate innovative projects and pitch ideas for new methods or partnerships to provide more robust data and improve efficiencies across the organization.
- Respond to data inquiries from various groups within the organization. Create and publish regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports.
- Lead cross-department projects with our Business Intelligence team.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field is recommended but not required
- 2 or more years of experience in marketing analytics
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities (SKA) Required:
- Applies advanced data analysis and statistical techniques to answer any number of complex data questions and initiatives.
- Ability to take complex data sets and analysis and simplify the message through metrics, reports, and dashboards.
- Expert ability to mine web analytics data through Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other Web Analytics tools
- Strong abilities in Excel, SQL, and reporting tools like SiSense, Tableau, and PowerBI
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong understanding of Google analytics and Internet marketing language
- Desire to coach, lead and teach others in your area of expertise
- Detail-oriented; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality
- Ability to manage several simultaneous projects and resources without losing focus
- Advanced level experience with Microsoft Office Suite and report generation
