Chris Scott Wellness is an established wellness practice in
Loves Park, Illinois. We have multiple openings available for Licensed Massage Therapists.
POSITION:
As a massage therapist, you will be responsible for treating clients through soft tissue manipulation while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience. The therapist should be good at perceiving client wishes and needs through spoken language, body language and other cues and modifying their treatments accordingly.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be licensed to practice Massage Therapy in the State of Illinois
- Punctual, reliable and dedicated
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide one or more of the following services (varies by LMT abilities and preference):
- 30, 60, or 90-minute massage
- 45-minute soft tissue assistance to Physical Therapy patients
- Myofascial Release Therapy
- Add-on services such as Cupping, CBD cream, etc.
- Thai Massage
- Deep tissue
- And more (have a unique service/style you can offer? Give us a call!)
- Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body
- Advise clients on stretching, strengthening or relaxation methods
- Suggest future massage appointments and regime to clients
- Listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire
