As a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical, Acute Care you will assist physicians in the care of patients after surgery. You will assess patients' progress, provide education and support to both the patient and the family and ensure optimal recovery.A successful Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical, Acute Care candidate will have excellent communication skills, a commitment to providing quality care, as well as a dedication to maintaining patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with patients, caretakers, and physicians.
• Prepare medical-surgical patient care reports.
• Organize medical supplies and equipment.
• Monitor, assess, and report patient status.
• Must be able to care for pediatrics, adolescents, adult, and geriatrics.
• Common diagnoses/types of patients: Surgical/Orthopedics/Urology/Medical.
• Prefer cardiac drip experience.
• Traveler may be asked to fill in the Charge Nurse role. if willing/interested, would be cross trained.
• Block scheduling can be accommodated as long as needs are met for the unit.
• Will be the first to float to like units.

Job Requirements:

• BLS, PALS, Prefer ACLS.
• Min. 2 years recent experience as RN in hospital setting.
• Recent PEDS experience required (within the last 2 years).
• Must be willing to float to like units.

Job Types: Full-time, Travel nursing, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,350.00 per week
