Job Summary

CannaMD is one of the leading Medical Marijuana Certification Clinics in the state of Florida. We are looking for a reliable and tech-savvy medical assistant/clinical assistant to grow with our company. This position is part-time to start, less than 30 hours a week,with the potential to grow to full-time within the first 90days. Days will consist of in-clinic and work from home for our offices located in the Orlando area. Weekend availability and reliable transportation is REQUIRED. Local area travel may be requested.

Responsibilities and Duties

Medical Assistants will have the responsibilities of both a medical assistant and clinical assistant. Clinical assistant duties include but are not limited to: Greet scheduled patients, confirming medical records and/or forms are uploaded to our medical records software, and other clerical/data entry responsibilities. Medical assistant duties include but are not limited to: Obtaining vitals, escorting patients to the exam room to be seen by the provider, and assisting the provider as needed. During downtime and when not in the office we will need you available to handle customer service-related issues.

Qualifications and Skills

One year of Medical Assistant experience and being technically savvy/proficient with computers are required.
