SERVICES DESCRIPTION: ENT Clinical Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

Full time/40 hours a week/W2. Arrive on site at hospital/facility by 7:00am to 6:00pm (hours will vary to meet needs of the customer)

Case support within the MA/CT area but must be able to travel to NY state (Hudson Valley to Syracuse/Buffalo/Rochester), New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont and Maine

Training will include in-house, online modules, in-field case observations and training field rides

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Clinical Specialist, supports the Ear, Nose and Throat Therapies in the areas of surgical coverage, follow-up support, troubleshooting, customer service and education.

This person will be engaged in clinical and technical support plus basic market development activities depending upon the needs of the assigned territory and district.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Represents client during surgical procedures by ensuring access to all necessary equipment and products required for the case, device selection, programming, implantation and testing of all device systems

Provides clinical support in surgeries, troubleshooting and follow ups in hospitals and clinics Responds promptly and appropriately to technical inquiries by customers, patients, and colleagues

Maintains a working knowledge of competitive products

Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to our products and therapies

Assists Management and Sales Training department in clinical/technical education/training of new employees in the district

Complies with required event reporting and documentation utilizing technology tools

Accountable to place an order with customer service for pending purchase orders and product replacement and is responsible for working with materials management to collect POs for cases covered within the territory/district

Responsible for managing inventory provided for case coverage.

Ensures personal understanding of all quality policy/system items that are applicable.

Follows all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high-quality work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree

Three to five years experience in a clinical specialist, technical support, engineering or biomed role.

Operating Room experience

Strong verbal communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
