Our company is hiring a Medical Receptionist to handle a wide range of duties including greeting patients and visitors, answering phones, scheduling appointments and entering insurance information into the computer. This position requires the ability to deal with patients and insurance companies, some medical billing and reimbursement issues, and the efficient coordination of patient information with other departments and staff. We're looking for an individual who can be both a compassionate listener as well as an efficient problem solver.

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic medical services to patients in person or over the phone.
• Verify patient information.
• Manage copays and payments.
• Perform general clerical duties.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the office.
• Answer telephone calls, walk-ins, and appointment requests.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Follow medical office policies and procedures.
• Be a supportive and positive team member.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
