DESCRIPTION
The Flight Crew Scheduler is responsible for performing all aspects of Crew Scheduling in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Company policies, and union agreements. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be capable of performing each essential duty satisfactorily. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains monthly pilot schedules in compliance with applicable union agreements, Company policy, and FAA regulations.
- Completion of daily shift responsibilities
- Coordinates and records all logistical changes and new flight requests
- Book travel and accommodations when necessary
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision within established and contractually compliant deadlines.
- Demonstrate ability to remain calm and even-tempered during stressful situations.
- Always able to maintain a customer-friendly attitude
- Exhibit strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to understand and work at an abstract level and utilize technology as a tool to solve complex scheduling problems.
- Must be able to support the activities in the Crew Resources department.
- Implement the policies and goals established by Northern Air Cargo as directed by the Director of Operations and other management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional math skills and previous Customer Service experience are required.
- Previous Crew Scheduling or Aviation experience preferred.
- Experience utilizing Scheduling Software preferred.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and remain focused on critical issues.
- Willing to work various hours, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Schedules are Four 10-hour shifts, followed by 3 days off per week.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and TSA security threat assessment.
