Job Description
· Seeking someone to support technology services provided by the Client.
· Client provides services to all 171 school districts, cabinet staff employees, and the general public.
· These services primarily include Active Directory, Office 365, Google Apps for Education, SharePoint, multiple web applications, networking, security, desktop and peripheral support for cabinet staff, and maintaining our Incident Management System.
· This team is responsible for creation and curation of incidents that are reported from our customer.
Description:
Responsible for supporting the KDE Information Technology customer base (171 districts, 1400 schools, public users, and KDE staff employees),
Perform other duties as assigned.
Manages Standard Operating Procedures.
Provide accurate documentation of incidents and problem resolutions.
Maintain knowledge of Standard Help Desk Operating Procedures
Utilize troubleshooting techniques in support of Workstations, Networked Printers, Network hub/switches, routers, and circuits.
Support of applications such as Office 365 and Active Directory
Support of operating systems on multiple platforms
Provide professional support to the customer base with the expectation of single call resolution.
Good phone skills, good communication skills, and good listening skills are necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
This position may require periodic on-call duty outside normal business hours to ensure that the supported systems are operating as intended and time sensitive deliverables are addressed. The on-call duties will be defined at the discretion of the client manager and/or the on-call policy for the organization.
Two years help desk experience. Customer service experience.
