Now Hiring an Inhouse Corporate Claims Adjuster ...

The Corporate Claims Adjuster performs complex and varied technical and professional work required to administer Waste Pro's loss prevention programs. Responsible in the development and coordination of investigating claims, handling and processing property damage claims. The Corporate Claims Adjuster will examine claims to determine claim liability by gathering information from various sources to include internal reports and interviewing claimants, witnesses or specialists.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Review property damage reports
• Ensure all required documents are supplied
• Analyze information from different sources
• Examine police reports, videos from surveillance cameras
• Develop and teach claim investigation
• Determine claim liability
• Prepare and process claim reports
• Calculate payments
• Negotiate settlements with claimants
• Send denial letters to claimants
• Support attorneys to defend the company in case of contestation
• Provide feedback and guidance to division management to improve the claim reporting process
• Provide documents and reports for claims reviews
• Assist with the development of claim investigation training materials.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma required; Degree in Insurance or Finance preferred
• Previous experience as a claim's adjuster or similar role
• Licensed all-lines adjuster in Florida
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong Oral and Written communication skills.
• Experienced with utilizing appraisal software
• Strong Microsoft office skills to include Excel and Word
• Ability to multi task
• Must have a strong background in dealing with people under difficult circumstances and a compassionate and resilient personality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
