Pumpkin is looking for a dynamic Office Manager to join our rapidly growing pet care company in NYC. As a member of our People Team, you’ll play an essential role in bringing our office into a new hybrid work model while ensuring we continue to create a safe, inclusive, and productive work environment for our human and furry colleagues. This is a high visibility position, with the ability to significantly impact the Pumpkin experience and culture.

This position requires 5 days a week in the New York City office.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage our office reservation system and ensure compliance with our workplace health and safety program and local/federal laws.
  • Ownership of the reception area and front of office during core business hours, addressing employee requests and vendors regarding all local facilities issues.
  • Creation and oversight of office budget, maintaining office inventory, organizing/restock office supplies and advise leadership on advances to overall colleague satisfaction.
  • Handle incoming & outgoing mail; coordinate shipping/receiving of all HQ correspondences and packages.
  • Ensure the office is client-ready at all times, maintaining a pleasant aesthetic throughout the office, conducting daily quality checks to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate catering for the office and other needs for meetings, on-site training classes, and other events.
  • Running the employee swag program from new hire boxes to end of year gifts is a huge plus!
  • Routinely handle objects weighing up to 30 lbs and on occasion may be expected to lift objects weighing up to 30 lbs.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong administrative background, with experience/desire to own office management.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively is essential for this role.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Effective ownership over systems and processes that ensure smooth office operations and high colleague satisfaction.
  • Self-disciplined with a high degree of professional acumen and pride in their work.
  • Ability to balance teamwork with independent problem solving skills.
  • Positive attitude and desire to serve as point-person for all office & facilities-related needs.
  • Computer Skills: Familiarity with office applications; prior experience with Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, MS Office and Google Docs experience is an advantage.

Compensation: $60,000-$80,000
