Job Description

The Olympics AI Innovation Program Lead is expected to be self-driven, high-energy individual who relishes the opportunity to architect, develop and deploy new technologies and solutions that help drive real business value while improving the Olympic Experience - either in the "back-end" of how the Olympics are run or the "front-end" of how the Olympics are experienced by Olympic guests in the stadiums or Olympic viewers around the world on TV and digital media. In particular, the candidate is expected to have deep understanding of the Emergent AI (EAI) research lab advanced AI technologies, and will work with the Olympics staff to integrate those technologies with maximum value and impact. Technology Skills An ideal candidate would be passionate about technology in general and have led implementations of at scale mission critical computing/cloud application deployments running on open IP/Internet based networks. Knowledge of AI is a major advantage and will be required for defining and deploying State-of-the-Art technologies. The candidate needs to have the sensibility to understand the impact of new AI technologies but good judgement and value-based thinking of the judicious use of any technology to solve a business problem. Skills for working with International Olympics Committee (IOC) Looking for a keen listener and an excellent communicator. Expected to be able to articulate the business value/impact of technology to Intel and IOC leadership. Will work with the IOC leadership across diverse areas from marketing, IT, games operations and finance to help shape an IOC technology vision for actionable deployment to improve the Olympics Experience. Should be comfortable driving business/investment decisions at Intel, partners and customers. Expected to be effective working across geos and across multiple technologies within Emergent AI group to shape/drive the use of technology to address an IOC business problem that spans the initial concept, a prototype/proof of concept leading to an at scale mission critical deployment. Skills inside Intel / Emergent AI (EAI) Research Lab Will need to engage with the technology teams at EAI, while working with corresponding efforts across business units inside Intel. Will provide expert guidance and support to all stakeholders or recruit others in IL as well BU's in support of projects that are defined in conjunction with IOC leadership to improve the Olympics experience across multiple generations of the Games. Will work and lead multiple projects in parallel and should be capable to express and convey ideas and influence the organization.

Qualifications

A technical or engineering background is required.

10+ years' experience across one of more of the attributes below is required

1. Experience leading architects and engineers to drive product requirements and the resulting systems architecture
2. Experience working with Intel customers and partners on conception, development and deployment of technology based solutions for large scale mission critical systems deployment.
3. Demonstrated ability to cultivate and tap a wide network of resources across research, engineering and products in multiple projects
4. Demonstrated Customer management/account management, program management experience

Ability to quickly absorb and learn and clearly articulate technologies is required

Excellent communication and presentation skills and keen listening skills are required

Successful candidates must be self-motivated with the initiative to work independently and within a team. Candidate must be able to work successfully in a highly dynamic fluid multi-site, multi-partner environment.

Familiarity with the Olympics technologies and the operations of the International Olympics Committee (IOC) is as advantage.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
