Position Overview:

Accuvest Global Advisors is a growing Registered Investment Advisor based in Provo, UT. Our client base is comprised of Financial Institutions, Advisors, and High Net Worth Investors across the globe.

We are seeking an analyst-level candidate to join the operations team. Your opportunities will include involvement in all areas of operations. We are looking for candidates who want to work in a dynamic environment that will allow them to broaden their investment industry knowledge through hands-on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The general day-to-day operations and maintenance of the portfolio accounting system. This includes daily recording of transactions and prices, corporate actions, maintenance of security information, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare statements and reporting packages for the investment team and clients. Ad hoc reports will be requested in your interaction with the investment committee for the analysis of portfolios or specific strategies and/or managers
• Manage opening and organizing new and existing client accounts
• Manual account entry and reconciliation

Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Candidates must have excellent organizational skills and a keen sense of attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Must be motivated and willing to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible with managing multiple tasks
• 1 to 3 years of financial services industry experience, preferably in an investment advisory or brokerage firm
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to distill, organize and communicate information and ideas in a clear and concise fashion
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with senior management, clients, and consultants
• Multilingual capabilities, especially in Spanish are a plus
