About Dr. June Chun, Optometrist
This family-oriented practice opened in 1977 and has provided full-scope optometry to a loyal patient base of three generations in the San Francisco community. Dr. Chun takes a one-on-one approach to eye care and strongly focuses on eye health and ocular disease detection. In addition to comprehensive vision services, the practice specializes in contact lenses and high-end designer eyewear. The practice is conveniently located in the Excelsior District, easily accessible by car or mass transportation. To help support ongoing business growth, Dr. Chun is looking for an additional provider to add to the team of five employees.
This tech-forward practice is fully suited with state-of-the-art optical exam technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of ocular conditions. Advanced diagnostic testing includes Marco Epic Autorefractor, Canon Digital Fundus Camera, Humphrey Field Analyzer HFA II-i, and I-Scan optical coherence tomography. Customers enjoy shopping at the optical boutique, well-known for its extensive collection of luxury frames.
About the Associate Optometrist Opening
Dr. June Chun, Optometrist, is seeking an Associate Optometrist passionate about providing personalized eye care and individualized vision solutions for a lifetime of clear vision. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive eye care services two to three days a week—approximately eight comprehensive exams are performed daily with additional primary eye care and contact lens follow-ups. The position is initially part-time with the potential for full-time status. The practice is looking for an energetic team player, TLG certified with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to mentor staff. For the right Associate Optometrist, a future practice buy-in opportunity may be available.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, excellent patient communication skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and be willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Optometry license in the state of California
- TLG certified
