Position Summary:
As a member of the Customer Support/Retail team, you will support and enhance our members’ experience through excellent customer service in our Chicago office and on occasion, some of our other locations.
The main hours of this role will be Monday through Friday 9 am - 2 pm. Additions to this schedule will be arranged in advance.
Essential Duties:
- Welcome staff and visitors to the Chicago office Monday
- Case management using Salesforce
- Answering Council phone center
- Office duties include ordering office and janitorial supplies, check scanning, cash deposits and data processing, and creating maintenance requests through building service portal
- Order fulfillment for online retail sales
- Provide back-up support to the Customer Support Specialists as needed in our Gathering Places
Job Qualifications
- Customer service and/or retail experience
- Able to learn, understand and apply case management system in Salesforce a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and working knowledge of Excel
- Must be organized and customer focused
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
