Job description
The Partnership Accountant (Tax Season, Temporary) will work between 30 to 40 hours per week. Under supervision of the Senior Partnership Accountant, the Partnership Accountant is responsible for assisting with both audit and tax during the 2023 busy season, January through May 2023.
Responsibilities:
- Review and approve annual audits for Low Income Housing properties.
- Work with internal and external parties to address any comments on properties’ audits.
- Prepare the consolidated financial statement packages for Limited Partnerships by compiling information from properties’ annual audit reports.
- Book advances, estimated losses, and RTO checks received to assist with the quarterly investor reports preparation.
- Coordinate the collection of properties’ financial audits as needed.
- Input partnership tax returns’ K-1 information for assigned portfolio.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Willingness to support the teamwork and help others.
- Take ownership of the work, able to handle high volume of transactions and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum intermediate level of excel skills.
- Attention to detail and good organization skills.
- Demonstrate ability in problem solving, priority setting and planning.
Education & Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- One year accounting experience preferred.
