Job description
Overview:The primary objective of the Payroll Administrator is to provide a variety of confidential HR support for the executive team, company office, and departmental programs or projects, which includes preparing complex reports, resolving issues and filing and other operational support.
Office Management and Departmental Support
- Generate and prepare reports
- Support management team with administrative and basic HR duties
- Manage all payroll changes, promotions, verification of team members' hours
- Maintain payroll records for multi-unit restaurants
- Assist with maintenance of employee files in People Matter
- Support the recruitment process
- Perform other duties as requested by the HR Director.
- Maintains accurate employee information, including personal information, employment income, allowances, benefits, non-regular payments, non-statutory deductions, termination of employment, records of employment, and supplementary unemployment benefits
- Administers payroll audit reports to verify accuracy with Onboarding completion
- Enrolls, maintains, and terminates employees
- Reliable attendance record
- Knowledge of the company policies, structure, and functions of personnel in order to appropriately assist as needed
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to learn / stay abreast of relevant policies
- Computer literate / able to use basic functions of a computer
- Ability to type a minimum of 30 wpm
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Outstanding listening skills
- Ability to perform under pressure in a calm manner
- High degree of accuracy
- Positive attitude
- Assist with Special Projects

Education / Experience
- Associates Degree preferred or some college experience is a must.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple tasks/projects.
- Confident interacting and communicating with high-level executives --think clearly, be a perceptive learner, sensing the needs of the organization, takes action with high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently without significant assistance or direction; work under pressure and time constraints and to handle changing priorities.
