Title: Phlebotomist
Duration: 3-6 months (contract)
Hours: Must be flexible between hours of 7am and 5:30 pm
Location: San Antonio TX 78222
Covid Vaccination Required - YES
Phlebotomy Certification required - YES

Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the area supervisor or group leader, Phlebotomy Services Floater's primary responsibility is to provide coverage at multiple locations.
Ensure that daily activities of the Patient Service Center/ Mobile/ In-office Phlebotomy are completed accurately and on time.
Maintain a safe and professional environment for patients, clients, and employees, perform with confidence both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
Under guidance of area supervisor, may direct daily activity at a PSC having staff of more than two PSR I persons.
May also be required to act as coach, mentor, instructor and resource person for new employees who have completed the required phlebotomy-training program.
Phlebotomy Certification required; if in CA, then California Phlebotomy Techinician Certification required.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required

Additional Job Details:
This Rep is strongly recommended to be bilingual in Spanish, great attendance,
Must have strong background with Pedi patients and geriatric.
Must be flexible between hours of 7am and 5:30pm as a floater could work at different sites (even though only working 8 hours a day).
Vaccine required, no exemptions

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $18.50 - $21.10 per hour
