We are looking for a Physical Therapy Aide to join our team!
The physical therapy aide will assist the physical therapist in daily operations, administrative tasks as well as assisting in the performance of exercises and other basic patient-centered tasks under the direct supervision of the physical therapist.
Job Duties:
- Perform daily operations to include the management of the physical therapy schedule, verifying patient insurance benefits with insurance carriers and entering patient information into electronic medical record.
- Effectively communicate with patients regarding appointment scheduling and payment collection while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
- Assist physical therapist with patient-centered tasks to include the demonstration and performance of exercises prescribed by the therapist.
- Ensure treatment area is clean and organized.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with healthcare administration
- Experience with physical therapy related tasks to include exercise coaching
- Strong organizational skills and customer-service oriented approach
- Teamwork attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
