FULL TIME - Location: 301 W. Hurst Blvd., Hurst, TX - Factory -
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the operations of the warehouse, and its’ staff. This role handles and manages the processing of orders (Internal/External), inventory, and inbound/outbound shipments. This individual will ensure that procedures and activities are developed and followed to optimize warehouse productivity. The Warehouse Supervisor will also be responsible for hiring and training new workers.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and supervises all warehouse operations. I.e., Put away, Order Picking, Loading, and Inventory Control.
• Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction through excellence in customer service.
• Keep accurate inventory control of Finished Goods, and Sundries.
• Communicate job expectations and coach employees.
• Determine staffing levels and assign workload.
• Troubleshoot operational and system issues to minimize interruption and downtime.
• Drive improvements on warehouse operations. Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance.
• Maintains a safe, clean, organized and secure warehouse operation (including perimeter of the facility)
• Proactively evaluates daily activity to make the necessary changes to the operation to meet the demand of the customer.
• Continuous development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for all Distribution and Logistics Operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of Operational, Warehouse and/or Logistics Management experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in business administration, logistics, supply chain or relevant field, a Plus.
• Thorough understanding of the warehouse and distribution operations. I.e. All Inbound, Picking, Put away, Loading, Cycle Counts, Outbound activities.
• Good People Skills and enjoys motivating the team.
• Enjoys being on the operations floor.
• Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
• Demonstrated ability to research, analyze and solve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities that must be pursued simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to implement projects from planning to execution.
• Good organizational abilities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Oracle is a Plus.
• Lean Principles. Yellow or Green Belt is a Plus
• Familiar with Transportation and/or routing software
• Experienced in Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
