Job Description

The Mold Operator Technician III is a critical role in our plant that produces thousands of dispensing products each day. The technician will ensure that the equipment runs efficiently and continuously. The technician performs the following duties:

• Safely and efficiently complete the molding process with high quality and repeatability
• Perform machine set-ups such as dip tube changes and mechanical part replacements
• Conduct quality checks and audits during production runs using visual inspection and the quality plan
• Test assembly units to detect malfunctions and adjust machines or fixtures as necessary
• Perform preventive maintenance on Assembly machines to maintain production equipment and reduce downtime
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, quality improvements, and efficiency
• Participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) reviews
• Assist with Continuous Improvement (CI) activities such as root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection and production results
• Ensure products meet required specifications
• Escalate safety, quality, and performance issues as needed
• Train and support others within the value stream
• Support machine disassembly
• Troubleshoot complex issues beyond basic resets, identify incorrect machine messages, and determine root cause/corrective actions
• Determine corrective actions on electrical parts or electrical related issues
• Drive continuous improvement strategies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

• Basic shop math and computer skills
• Basic machine troubleshooting skills and ability to solve mechanical issues
• Willingness to assist other cross-functional groups based on needs
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and report data based on machine performance
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to learn, grow, and adapt to changing business needs

Physical Demands
