We are seeking an outstanding PRN Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse for our physician offices located in Lakewood and Park Meadows, CO. The Infusion/Office Nurse provides competent, compassionate nursing care representing the highest of nursing standards based on specific principles and the use of accepted nursing practice. We offer excellent working environment, great staff, competitive salary, and free parking offered. Plus, you DO NOT have to work nights, weekends, holidays or take call. This position will administer chemo infusions as well as be responsible for a variety of office/administrative responsibilities.

Infusion Nurse Responsibilities:

• Provide infusion therapies to patients and monitors their care during infusions
• Serve as liaison between patients, physicians, hospital systems and office staff.
• Process medication requests in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively in a courteous and professional manner with patients, physicians, vendors, employees, guests and all others accessing the practice.
• Assist in review of charts on a daily basis with regards to labs and ensures patients are contacted in a timely manner with regards to medication changes.
• Administer injections as ordered by physicians.
• Assists with physician as needed with catheter placements, injections, post-operative care, etc.

Infusion Nurse Requirements:

• BSN or AA in Nursing
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.
• Excellent IV Therapy skills required. Oncology Nursing experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR/ACLS required or capable of obtaining
• Critical care experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service capabilities required.
• Ability to work well under pressure a must.
• Strong customer service skills.
