We are currently looking for:
PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
This position is a direct replacement for an employee transferring within Atos to another position. Extensive knowledge on process, relationships, systems/tools, and SLA’s is required. This individual needs to be highly motived with a high level of initiative, flexibility, be customer service oriented with a strong attention to detail. The primary focus for this new individual will be processing all procurement requests in support of a government account. This individual must be a critical thinker, ask questions and resolve issues. Job Description:
- Manage software/hardware
- Client facing
- Create and manage tasks/requisitions within a client system and Atos system
- Obtain Vendor quotes
- Manage the approval process with the client and the internal business unit
- Ensure purchase orders are issued in a timely manner
- Provide timely updates to an internal task system with multiple status updates daily
- Close out order and task
- Review invoice and process goods receipt Relationships
- Procurement Mgmt.
- Customer executives
- Managed Service Integrator

- Vendor Additional
- Pro-active, self-starter, problem solving skills
- Understand the obligations for Procurement as a Service (PaaS)
- Expedite orders for high priority projects
- Minimize SLA exposure and adhere to strict deadlines
- Understand the Complexity of the account
- Follow New Procedures and tool implementation
- Communicate effectively
- Knowledge of Servers, MF, Storage, Maintenance Support and Software
- Strong Procurement Representative
- Communicate professionally and effectively with the client regarding the status of their request
- Ability to resolve issues by effectively researching and assigning/engaging/escalating to the right organization.
- Must be able to adhere to Atos and customer’s procurement guidelines
