Position: 2nd Shift Warehouse Manager

Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a highly motivated, collaborative individual to join and support the growth of an exciting team. Warehouse Manager will be responsible to oversee daily operations and execution of warehouse operations and coordination with all other departments while working side by side with Operations Manager.

• Responsibilities:

-Oversee day to day to warehouse operations within shipping, recieving and transportation to assure smooth handoff the day shift.

-Assist in hiring, training, performance reviews and disciplinary procedures of new employees.

-Ensuring the returns/ rejections are properly processed and put away.

-Develop, coach and mentor staff through effective use of continuous feedback and communication.

-Provide daily directions to warehouse supervisors.

-Promote safety through warehouse.

-Ensure all direct reports are properly trained in their necessary duties and suggest training to improve the required skills and performance.

-Execute the Operational goals and objectives provided by the Operations Manager.

-Ensure timely loading of local delivery and third party trucks.

-Assist in the management of the weekly schedule for adequate staffing levels throughout warehouse and transportation.

-Promote safety throughout the warehouse. Ensure that accident procedures are followed, and corrective actions are taken

-Follow all company policies and procedures to include compliance with food safety and HACCP program requirements.

• Education and Requirements:

-Highschool diploma or equivalent

-Management (2 years preffered)

-experience working in a food/perishable distribution center

• WORKING CONDITIONS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. The employee will occasionally work in the warehouse where the temperatures range from 33 – 55 degrees.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
