About Us

Lev is revolutionizing the $600B commercial real estate financing space. We are building a technology platform using advanced machine learning software to digitize the loan transaction process from end to end.

As of May 2022, we secured our $70 million Series B round of financing bringing us to $110M in funding in just over 2 years. We're backed by market leaders in CRE and venture capital - with investments from NFX, Capital One, and Citi as well as strategic investments from Cross River, Parker 89 and JLL. At the intersection of humans and technology, we won't rest until we can provide the right financing with the best experience to every commercial real estate borrower and investor.

Lev is looking for a Product Designer to drive high-quality, human centered design. You will be developing consumer grade design for the commercial real estate industry. This role works in close collaboration with the Product team, strengthening UI for user workflows, identifying pain points, and executing designs across Lev's product lines. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful problem solver who is attentive to detail. In an analog industry, you will be at the forefront of defining ground-breaking, innovative, digital products in the commercial real estate financing space.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with engineering, product, and business teams to define problems; goals, research requirements, map user flows, prototype, and launch new products
  • Take part in forming our design processes, setting a foundation for years to come
  • Create, collaborate, and iterate on flows, prototypes and high-fidelity visuals
  • Communicate progress and key updates with other team members on a regular basis
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of Lev's existing products and our users
  • Supporting early product definition by working closely with partners to participate in discovery sessions that uncover customer pain points and opportunities

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of product design experience
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding and knowledge of user-centered design activities from research, concepting, flows, sitemaps, wireframes, to high fidelity user interfaces
  • An in-depth understanding of UI concepts
  • A strong portfolio and a high quality of work
  • The ability to present design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Strength in developing mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how products will function and look like
  • Experience in building out design systems
  • Clear and effective communication skills in articulating design concepts and rationales
  • Effective time-management skills and ability to deliver on multiple competing priorities
  • Professional experience with financial tools and/or real estate products preferable, but not required

The estimated base pay range for this role is $100,000- $120,000.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide. Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.

The range above is a good faith estimate based on the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. If that ends up being the case, the actual salary may vary from the estimates provided above
