MSC Cruises, the world’s third largest and most rapidly growing cruise line is recruiting for a Product Marketing Manager for its USA operations. This position will lead Product Marketing for MSC Cruises U.S. and serve as a subject matter expert for key products with the goal of ensuring the U.S. commercial team has complete product information to achieve business goals.
MSC continues to offer its employees flexibility and operates a hybrid model whereby employees work 2-3 days \/ week in Miami or Fort Lauderdale office
Responsibilities
Develop robust product briefs that contain information required by various teams including Marketing, Sales,PR, Revenue Management and Contact Centers to effectively support the key product priorities.
Collaborate with key stakeholders in Geneva headquarters to gather key content and localize the information for the U.S. market.
Activate key channel assets such as campaigns\/product videos (where applicable) and track channel placements via communications plans to maximize demand for key products.
Monitor deployment and itinerary changes and identify the impact to product briefs and channel communications.
Refresh materials to ensure channel owners are consistently supporting the most accurate products.
Assist with the positioning of new ship launches, the creation of key milestones which outline critical opportunities for channel support, and track channel placements via a communications plan.
Track the competitive activity of new ship launches, industry trends, and key deployment changes. Create and distribute a monthly summary to the Marketing Department.
Support the Brand Team to ensure relevant terminology, product names, and cruise terminology are reflected and maintained in brand and product guidelines.
Liaise with the PR team to ensure press releases contain accurate product details and identify opportunities to enhance the positioning of our products and drive cross-channel synergy between PR and Marketing.
Attend video\/photoshoots to support teams if\/when needed and coordinates logistics with marketing and onboard crew to optimize content capture and minimize guest experience impact.
Update health and safety protocols content per guidance from Corporate Marketing and U.S. leadership
Requirements
B.S. Degree in Marketing, equivalent education, minimum of 5-7 years of relevant Product experience – cruise line experience is preferred, though not required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Strong organizational skills and the ability to assemble and develop internal tools and assets for communications usage while coordinating across multiple departments.
Possess strong critical thinking skills, the ability to analyze facts, and convert them into conclusions and solutions.
Passionate about product facts, features, amenities, etc., and how it translates to the guest experience.
Ability to balance various priorities simultaneously in a high-paced environment.
Ability to build diverse collaborative relationships internally and externally.
