Required Skills and Experience:
● Define and prioritize the product backlog to ensure that it aligns with the company's
vision and strategy
● Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements and ensure
that the product backlog accurately reflects their needs
● Ability to write clear and complete product stories to meet the requirements needed
● Ensure that the product backlog is properly understood and that all team members are
aligned on the product's direction
● Act as the voice of the customer and/or employees and ensure that their needs are
represented in all product decisions
● Continuously evaluate the product backlog to ensure that it is up-to-date and relevant,
and make adjustments as necessary
● Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed of the product's
progress and to solicit feedback
● Participate in product demonstrations and presentations to stakeholders and customers
● Provide thought leadership on product-related topics and assist in developing the
company's overall product strategy
● Proficient with Tracker, Jira, or a similar backlog/story management tool
● 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or equivalent role
● Understanding of product development process and backlog grooming
● Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate
with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
● Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
● Proven track record of successfully participating in launching and managing products
from concept to market
● Experience with data analysis and the ability to use data to inform product decisions
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Strong communication skills
● Comfortable working in a small organization
● Detail oriented
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Develop innovative, industry-leading features
● Develop detailed, business requirements and user stories that can be used to create
product specifications and architecture for each product and application
● Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and
operational support volume
● Drive product launches including working with our marketing and sales teams and other
department managers
● Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and
generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive
growth
● Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
● Develop and deliver internal training to build product knowledge and experience of staff
Desired Skills and Experience
● UI/UX experience
● Basic graphic design skills
● Experience with Sketch, Figma, or similar tools
● Comfortable with communication through Slack

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
