THE OPPORTUNITY

The BSN SPORTS Indianapolis Production/Warehouse team is looking for a team oriented, high-energy Manager in Indianapolis, IN.

HOW YOU-LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

As a member of the Production/Warehouse team, the Manager is a key leadership role and is responsible developing and coaching all team members and defining KPIs for operational success.

WHAT YOU-LL DO ON A DAILY BASIS:

• Provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming working environment in a Lean culture for all team members
• Communicate with levels of the team with regards to KPIs, performance feedback and reviews, recognition of team members
• Ensures positive employee relations by active coaching and conflict resolution
• Builds strong teams and team members
• Be a champion of the department-s KPIs; develop KPIs and create attainment paths
• Bias to continuous improvement initiatives

WHAT SKILLS YOU-LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

• Professional written and verbal communication and listening skills
• History of developing strong team and creating a bench
• Solution oriented and change management minded
• Collaborates with peers for team and Operational success
• Computer literate with knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge in SAP/WMS a plus
• Able to provide direction to teams
• Flexibility to work varying shifts in support of the operation

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

• Bachelor-s Degree in any field and/or 5-7 years- experience in warehouse manufacturing/setting
• 2-3 years- experience in a Manager level role
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
