Job Responsibilities

• Promote and support Koppers goal of Zero Harm and Zero Waste
• Oversee day-to-day production activities of plant employees, including training, and assigning duties, up to and including SHE compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist plant manager in all operations of Eutawville Pole Yard – Including equipment, staffing, output, productivity, organization, and safety.
• Supervisor and provide leadership throughout the yard.
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required; BS in Wood Science or Business preferred.
• Safety, health, and environmental awareness
• Strong organizational and communications skills
• Team player
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products preferred
