Overview
The Program Manager is a client facing position that is responsible for the execution and day-to-day logistics of high-profile experiential marketing & event campaigns. They will supervise all program related staff and activities to ensure these are completed in a timely, efficient and effective manner within budget, as per the details of the contract with the client. The Program Manager works under the guidance of the Account Director to meet client deliverables.
The ideal candidate enjoys multi-tasking, project ownership and has a positive attitude. They must be confident and persuasive, enjoy a fast-paced environment and be able to drive projects to deadline while delivering a quality product. They will need to have experience managing against the confirmed scope but be fluid with change and evolution.
Responsibilities
- Assist and lead in the development and execution of program tours, displays and exhibits, meetings, conferences, tradeshows and events that support industry objectives
- Create and manage project documentation, deliverables, and performance within necessary systems
- Establish checkpoints with cross-functional teams to remain well-informed about all programs, potential opportunities, and key highlights
- Responsible for managing deliverable timelines and budgets, foreseeing potential roadblocks, and proactively providing input to avoid delays or change orders
- Consistently communicate between internal and client teams to ensure program direction stays consistent with the objective and on time delivery
- Manage program material development including overall concept, content and graphic look
- Track and report metrics involved with meetings, programs or events
- Research and suggest new opportunities that drive value and improve experience for the customers
- Support project managers and drive deliverables while helping to manage and resolve potential roadblocks within the program.
- Flag any concerns or changes that would alter the sow and budget.
- Lead relationships with our 3rd party vendors and agencies that support the program deliverables.
- Drive post-event collaborations and deliverables (recap decks, report outs, and lessons learned).
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree or above, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of (5) five years of experience in communications, marketing, events and/or meeting planning
- Excellent client management and communication skills
- Agency or Automotive OEM experience preferred
- Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage multiple and diverse fast paced projects through to completion
- Having a proactive approach to managing programs
- High level of competence with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Smartsheet experience preferred
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours
