Project Associate

(Chicago and surrounding area)

Position Summary : Sikich is seeking a Project Associate based out of the Chicagoland area.

Functional breakdown : Onsite and remote support and management of end users, workstations, servers, and network infrastructure.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

· Building desktops and laptops for onsite or remote deployment to end users.

· Perform basic troubleshooting of PC and application issues.

· Perform application installs for end users.

· Work with other consultants to escalate customer issues and gain exposure to more advanced server and network infrastructure concepts.

· Assist customers with first call resolution of day-to-day issues & requests.

· Use strong customer service skills (good organization, clear and helpful communication, timely response, and resolution) to help maintain best-in-class customer service.

· Track and schedule time and document technical efforts in our PSA.

· Participate and contribute to the constant improvement of service delivery processes.

· Hours: 8am-5pm CT Monday-Friday (with nights/weekends as needed).

· Participate in the 24/7 on-call rotation.

· Role is 50% inside/work from home and 50% outside with travel requirements, including building desktops and laptops and taking them to client locations around the Chicago area.

Requirements:

· 2 years experience required (Managed Services preferred).

· Experience with PSA and RMM toolsets, such as ConnectWise Manage and LabTech/ConnectWise Automate, is a plus.

· Experienced in supporting Windows 10, Windows 11, and macOS.

· Proficiency in Windows AD & Exchange Online Administration.

· Experienced in supporting Microsoft Office & Office 365 products.

· Good network/connectivity troubleshooting skills.

· Experienced in the imaging/setup of workstations from hardware through Windows profile configuration.

· Strong troubleshooting skills for day-to-day requests, such as performance, printing, and email-related issues.

· Well-versed in cleanup and removal of malware and viruses.
