Job Description

Participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned projects. Assigned projects may be general or systems related in nature. Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with user needs. Participates in training users and evaluating the project. Manages performance of the project team and evaluates overall team performance.

Position Summary:

U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust & Custody seeks an experienced Product Manager to develop and execute strategic initiatives in support of business line growth, product enhancement and operational improvement. This individual will lead Product Management for the Structured Finance and Document Custody segments by partnering with sales, marketing, relationship management, operations, technology, risk management, legal and finance to conduct analysis and build solutions to address market, product, marketing and operational opportunities.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of Corporate Trust financial services experience, with emphasis on product and strategic initiatives


Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge of trustee, agency and document custody services for asset backed securities and mortgage backed securities

  • Demonstrated business acumen and maturity in discussing, solving and presenting complex business issues

  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to problem solving

  • Demonstrated project management, market/competitive analysis and business strategy skills

  • Experience prioritizing projects and managing expectations

  • Independent, self-starter - Driven to execute with limited guidance - Inquisitive by nature

  • Extensive teamwork experience coupled with the ability to work autonomously

  • Strong communication skills in developing projects and presentations

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend 3 days per week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the remaining working days.
