What does the position do?

A typical day will consist of the following:

• Plan and carry out policies related to the management of multiple construction projects at multiple locations or a long-term project.
• Monitor the management labor on every project under their direction with the project manager to ensure that budgeted labor is met and not exceeded. This will include managing the construction process to ensure that the management is allocated at the correct phases of the project and not over staffed or understaffed.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate subcontractor work to ensure the project schedule is met.
• Understands construction sequencing and is able to conceptually build the project in its entirety and then go out and do it.
• Lead and guide their team through all safety protocols.
• Ensure all work is installed per the work plan document and that quality is met by utilizing the QCP.
• Perform timely inspections and uses the deficiency log to have a 0-punch list project.
• Identifying and resolving problems and conflicts early by utilizing specific controls established in the QCP.
• Effectively Conduct Owners meeting to ensure there is a complete understanding of the project and any current issues or outstanding questions.
• Prepare budgets and understands the “Blue folder” process.
• Write and execute subcontracts and the scope of work, scope and price construction change orders while managing schedules, close outs, and job costs.
• Manage the QC and Safety program.
• Develope monthly progress reports to the customer and Monthly Risk Reports.
• Manage the submittal process.

What will top candidates bring to the table?

• Top candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
• PMs must have current CoE CQM Certification, OSHA 30, First Aid / CPR / AED, and ASHE HCC certification.
• Understands private client and/or government documentation requirements.
• We expect our Managers to have a natural desire to coach and mentor their teams.
• Strong technical skills and computer skills are necessary to be successful in this role.
