Project Manager, PMI or PMP
18 months contract (working on W2 only)
Location: Redmond, WA Hybrid
This role will be highly dynamic in nature- involving a mix of PM and Biz Mgmt duties ranging from supporting the IPS Strategy and Operations team on key projects, providing PM/Biz mgmt support to the LT Chief of Staff (as prioritized), etc.
- Manages large size projects pertaining to the development and implementation of Microsoft Enterprise, General Business and/or Field Office product or general business programs.
- This position requires interaction with internal stakeholders including customer facing teams and internal development and implementation teams.
- The candidate is responsible for supporting 3rd party vendor relationships to ensure that Microsoft project business requirements are met.
Skills:
- 4-8 years of project management experience, Master's degree preferred, PMI Certification required.
- Knowledge/background in software industry products/services/applications, with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft's products/services/applications preferred. Must possess strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills; ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues.
- The ideal candidate will have high-powered analytical skills and the ability to understand concepts and situations that pass by many others.
- Must have excellent communication skills, experience working with external vendors, strong project management skills, and demonstrated success in adult learning and training principles/skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Location Requirements: For remainder of May and June, this person will be remote but may need to be available to come onto MSFT Redmond campus (as prioritized) to participate in/support on-site meetings/discussions, etc. as prioritized]
