Job Summary

TMG is seeking active Proposal Coordinator to join our growing team and work out of our corporate office in Jersey City, NJ. This Proposal Coordinator position will provide strategic direction/guidance to pursuit team in developing strategies for responding to and preparing materials. Also working alongside the Construction teams in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, candidates, and the McCloud Group Executive staff. The McCloud Group hires permanent employees from entry level through the executive level.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage team of proposal coordinators, oversee all proposal and marketing activities.
• Coordinate, assemble and produce project proposals, client qualification packages, client interview material, press releases, social media post, and presentation. Task including writing, creative design, editing, graphic design, and final production of materials.
• Write and maintain current employee resumes, project descriptions, and more.
• Work with technical, field, and management staff to development and update proposal information.
• Monitors and tracks the effectiveness of all marketing activities. Follows trends and makes recommendations to management to adjust marketing strategies to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
• Update client and project data on company system.
• Manage prospect opportunities searches.
• Plan and coordinate marketing activities, advertising, special events, and public relations activities.
• Assist with marketing plan development and implementation.
• Assist with marketing budget development.
• Promote and support company branding efforts and ensure that all branding activity supports the company-approved branding standards.
• Plan and schedule marketing support activities to ensure that goals are accomplished, and deadlines are met.
• Plan and coordinate research activities.
• Update social media information.
• Update website information.
• Coordinate specialized consultants (photographers, public relations, etc.).
• Represent The McCloud Group to clients, peer organizations, and business associates.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 plus years’ experience in commercial construction marketing and proposal writing preferred.
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
• Ability decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve complex results.
• Oversees proposal activities, including leading proposal support staff teams, managing proposal schedules and deadlines, developing proposal outline, and working in partnership with the pursuit champion to monitor the progress of proposals.
• Collaborates with technical staff and writes/reviews/edits original content for clarity, compliance and key messages.
• Organizes and may facilitate pursuit strategy meetings.
• Leads the pursuit team on presentation phase, including presentation coaching.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
