Today, our team is conquering the last mile challenge in healthcare - how to ensure that medical records in EMRs and paper files are able to get to the right person at the right time. If we solve this challenge, we'll unlock the ability for patients to get their records in seconds, for life sciences companies to fully track and understand the impact of new therapies, and for providers to be able to see their patient's full medical history and recommend the right treatment at the right time.
This isn't a problem one solves with a whiteboard or slide deck. Your willingness to jump in the mud, get your hands dirty, and understand the problem at the most granular level will be crucial.
As a member of our Rapid Retrieval team, you will manage the end-to-end process of retrieving medical records from our extended network on behalf of the patients, researchers and clinicians we serve. You will also work alongside our Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to support customers in implementing and enabling Datavant's record retrieval offering. By the end of your first few months, you will have meaningfully impacted individual lives through driving medical record retrievals for a variety of different use cases, including those that power critical research for patient outcomes. You will have positioned yourself to leverage this lived experience to recommend meaningful change as we work together to eradicate obstacles to the free flow of critical information going forward.
You Will:
- Own and deliver record retrieval projects to "no fail" standards – our customers depend on the insight these medical records provide to power critical decisions and advancements in healthcare
- Ensure successful client onboarding as soon as a deal is signed and overall high client satisfaction, managing the end-to-end process of getting our clients set-up with Datavant, both technically and from a user perspective
- Provide exceptional client service and support, constantly considering ways we could better serve clients through new features, use cases, and products
- Partner with our customers to troubleshoot and resolve project or record request-specific issues to ensure they are in compliance with provider policies for release
- Identify and support automation of repeatable processes; take on special projects within the team to accelerate our progress
- Help shape our product and strategy by providing real-time, continuous feedback to our product and operations teams
What You Will Bring to the Table:

- Experience with EMRs and healthcare data connectivity, or the ability to ramp up very quickly

Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive, internally fair, and not win or lose on compensation. Salary ranges are developed with the support of benchmarks (competitive San Francisco rates for US-based roles) and industry best practices.
