Columbia Sussex Management LLC is currently seeking an energetic Recreation Ambassador for The Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa, in Clearwater Beach, Florida.

Basic Purpose: Assists with maximization of guest satisfaction related to children's resort activities for specific purpose of increasing guest satisfaction and increasing revenues.

Responsibilities:

· Day to day interaction with children of guests, involving them in structured recreational activities.

· Development of Recreation Activities programs and calendar to include new and innovative ideas to enhance guest and member experiences and increase revenue opportunities.

· Hand out towels to guests

· Bring in towels from bins

· Inventory control and activity program development and evolution.

Supportive Functions

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions.

· Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to the Security Department.

· Attend all mandatory meetings

· Provide general public assistance, instruction and/or guidance for guests

· Keep work area neat and organized

· Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor

Physical Aspects of Position: includes but not limited to

· standing and walking throughout shift

· Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30lbs

· Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions, such as heat, cold, and/or rain

Grooming/Uniforms

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.

Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and be available to work weekends and holidays.
