MD SLEEP CLARKSVILLE
SUMMARY: The Polysomnographic Technologists is responsible for performing sleep studies to help patients of all ages who suffer with sleep disorder. Participates in a team environment to include open communication, trust, accountability and mutual respect.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum requirements include: Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography ,OR
Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one than one year duration associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technologist. Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent. Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification. Proficient in MS Office preferably in Excel and Word; ability to work with limited supervision; possess strong verbal communication skills, good organization skills and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Duties include the following, but are not limited to)
- Preparing patients for sleep studies
- Monitoring patients during studies and recording results
- Perform routine and complex equipment care and maintenance.
- Evaluate sleep study related equipment and inventory.
- Demonstrate effective written and spoken communication skills.
- Demonstrate appropriate social skills.
- Respond to study participant’s procedural-related inquiries by providing appropriate information.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze complex situations and apply policy.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and standards regarding safety and infection control issues
- Comply with the BRPT Standards of Conduct Education.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
