Role:
Tenaya has an immediate need for a Research Associate or Senior Research Associate to support the Gene Therapy team. Tenaya seeks a creative, self-motivated individual with a passion for experimental science and teamwork. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and problem-solver working closely with the team to drive the company’s future success.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute a diverse range of molecular biology, cell biology, and biochemistry assays to support AAV capsid engineering projects
- Collaborate with members in the gene therapy group and other teams to conduct various studies
- Record, analyze, and summarize experimental data
- Present findings in both small and large group company meetings
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline with at least 1 year (Research Associate) or 3 years (Senior Research Associate) of laboratory research experience
- Prior experience with standard molecular biology techniques is required
- Cell culture, histology, or NGS experience is a plus
- Excellent learning ability, capable of adapting to a question-driven, fast-paced research environment
- Strong motivation and passion for science, along with the ability to build open and collaborative relationships
