The Integrated Device Manufacturing Acceleration Office (IAO) is seeking a Finance Solution Architect with a strong record of building end to end architectures to drive the technical foundation for Intel's dynamic business environment. This requires the ability to partner and collaborate across business groups while leading innovation and positive change. This allows Intel to implement industry best business practices and capabilities to deliver leading products and services. Key areas of focus are Product Costing, Inventory Valuation, and other areas of Financial Accounting, e.g., Accounts Receivable, Credit Management, and Cash Management.
The SAP Solution Architect is responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Defines software application architecture across client, cloud, or enterprise
  • Makes high-level design choices focused on manageability, scalability, usability, resiliency, availability, security, and/or safety for the software structure, protocols, and algorithms
  • Determines coding, development tools, validation, and standards compliance requirements
  • Collaborates with management, product owners, and project managers to evaluate the feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development
  • Performs pathfinding, surveys technologies, participates in standards committees, and presents at external and internal events
  • Interacts with multiple technologists in the company to influence architectures and optimize/customize software offerings

Qualifications


Qualifications:

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience as a Tech Lead, or Solution architect
  • 8+ plus years of experience with Finance processes and solutions
  • 5+ years' experience in:
  • Implementing solutions in SAP S/4 HANA or SAP ECC in the areas of Product Cost Controlling, Cost Object Controlling, Inventory Valuation, Accounts Receivable, Financial Supply Chain Management, Cash Management, and In House Cash
  • Enterprise solutions architecture expertise including knowledge of industry best known methods
  • Solution delivery experience with a demonstrated history of delivering high-value business outcomes.
  • Proven history of collaboration across multiple organizations, business partners and stakeholders


Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years' experience in:

  • Expertise in Financial Accounting, Central Finance, Corporate Consolidations, and Finance Master Data
  • Expertise in large scale business transformation
  • Strong experience with cost accounting, and product costing/inventory valuation
  • Technical and Data Architecture understanding
  • TCO Management
  • Expertise in architecting and configuring interactive UIs, workbenches, exceptions, and reports based on specific business requirements
  • Expertise in working with the project team to ensure smooth, efficient implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements
  • Provides advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology
  • Agile experience
  • Proven success in fast-paced programs and/or projects and a fast learner
  • Willingness to work in a diverse team environment and with others in cross-site organizations
  • Working knowledge in the software engineering development lifecycle process

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $136,750.00-$232,630.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
