We offer outpatient therapy, IBHS services, psychiatric medication management, and many other services unique to each office.
Malvern Community Health Services is currently seeking a School Based Outpatient Supervisor for our Pottstown Office.
Our Pottstown office services Montgomery, Berks, and Chester county communities in:

• School-Based Outpatient Therapy

Position Summary: Responsible for oversight of the School-Based Outpatient program
Summary of Essential Position Functions:

• Oversees the Outpatient program
• Completes random chart reviews
• Prepares for site audits from managed care companies
• Sees clients as needed in the outpatient program
• Responsible for crisis intervention as needed for outpatient
• Prepares weekly outpatient report for Site Manager and Director
• Trains all new Outpatient Therapists on clinical and administrative duties and on the use of Credible
• Responsible for overall compliance of the program
• Sends financial reports and census to Site Manager, Director or Corporate office as needed
• Attends monthly outpatient meetings
• Supervision of the Outpatient Therapists
• Meets with the psychiatrist/physician’s assistant on a regular basis to review cases
• Has a billable hour requirement of 15 hours/week.
• Performs other duties as assigned

*Education and/or Experience:*

• Master’s degree in Social Work OR Human Services
• 3 plus years’ experience working with children & previous supervision experience preferred
• Preferably a licensed counselor
• Knowledge of Mental Health Problems and Systems, Managed Care and Community Resource

Credentials and Special/Technical Skills:

• Clearances for Child Abuse, FBI and State Criminal, as well as CPR/First Aid Certification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
