C. DeWitt Foard & Company is a local CPA firm offering tax and audit services to Charlotte and the surrounding communities for over 50 years. We specialize in assurance services for area not-for-profit organizations and churches.

We are looking to expand and hire a Senior Audit Associate. Three years of experience is required for the position. This position will report directly to the audit managers and firm partners.

Examples of responsibilities include: oversight of audit associates, manage wrap-up of multiple engagements, ability to identify deficiencies internal controls and communicate recommendations to the clients, and financial statement and note disclosure preparation.

Competitive salary and benefits package (health insurance fully covered, employer contributions to an HSA, retirement match 5% after 1 year of service, 4 weeks of PTO, etc.). Overnight travel as little as two weeks during the year.

Requirements:

• Current CPA license.
• 3+ years of recent audit experience with a public accounting firm. Experience with not-for-profits is a plus.
• Experience with CaseWare Working Papers (preferred).
• Single audit experience (preferred).
