This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Implementation Specialist to work remotely supporting Golder’s Digital Solutions Team. Working with a wide range of internal and external clients in various industries, the Senior Implementation Specialist will solve complex requirements, lead technical project teams, and develop designs for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Software solutions. The Senior Implementation Consultant will identify new opportunities, develop proposals, implement software solutions, and represent Golder Digital Solutions at external events, amongst other activities to ensure that we provide quality solutions to meet our clients' EHS Software needs.
Your Impact
- Interact with customers using a variety of means to obtain technical details required for configuration
- Interpret customer compliance requirements and business processes in sufficient detail to develop technical specifications for configuration
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving existing business processes
- Configure EHS software per design specifications
- Perform unit testing of EHS software to verify configuration per design specifications
- Perform end to end system testing with support as needed
- Develop reports, dashboards and other visualization assets using commercially available software packages and tools
- Demonstrate software configuration and base functionality to customers in informal and formal settings
- Assist in the development of integration specifications and testing
- Deliver and develop training, technical documentation and training materials for customer and/or project team use
- Develop test scripts and support customers through UAT
- Develop legacy data mapping
- Perform data migration and cleansing activities
- Analyze and interpret large, complex data sets
- Troubleshoot configuration issues during deployment and rollout activities
- Support customer account team during post deployment and rollout activities
- Interact with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients in a confident and professional manner.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant post education experience working with an information software platform and/or one or more of the following subject areas: environmental permitting and compliance, occupational health and industrial hygiene, safety incident management, sustainability, and resiliency, and/or quality management or risk management (operational or enterprise).
- Past experience directing and supporting remote and global teams, including mentoring and training staff.
- Analytical mindset with an ability to exercise sound judgement in evaluating situations, applying logic, making decisions, and providing objectivity.
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, and effectively articulating complex data in a simple, actionable manner.
- Demonstrated high level of self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, results orientation, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong ability to work independently and provide guidance and leadership to junior team or project members
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
- Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
- Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics background.
- Certifications related to Data Science, Information Management, Business Management, Project Management
- Bilingual (English and additional language)
