Senior Manager, Global Planning

Position Summary:
The scope of this role is to manage people, processes and systems across Demand, Supply Management, as well as supporting the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) processes.
The individual in this role is:
· Accountable to manage processes for balancing demand and supply and assist in the identification and resolution of plan variances, inventory, cost, and service optimization in alignment to the business objectives.
· Responsible to contribute to the development and implementation of ERP based planning processes and will be accountable for demonstrated use of ERP and production planning to improve department efficiency.
· Responsible to develop strategic plans to guide portfolio reliability and ensure continued service improvement for long term performance .
· Responsible to develop proactive strategies to anticipate and mitigate issues and risks with respect to Finished Good availability .
· Entrusted to develop and maintain professional relationships with other functions, such as marketing, product development, production, logistics and finance to reconcile top-down financial plans with the bottom-up operational plans .
· Responsible in driving the continuous improvement of the planning processes and frameworks supporting S&OP and S&OE, as well as contributing to special projects and other supply chain and business strategic initiatives.
· Responsible to develop a team of Global Planners to accurately forecast demand and supply planning for the full horizon .
· Responsible to balance and optimize inventory while maintaining targeted customer service levels .
· Responsible to conduct supply reviews with Operations and update on any concerns changes in demand have on the manufacturing sites .
· Well-rounded and encompasses analytical, communication, people and leadership skills with strong business and commercial acumen. They can work under pressure and cross-functionally, to drive sound decision making with a result-oriented focus.
· Can quickly identify deviations from expected results and other disruptions and can promptly lead their teams to resolve any issues, fostering a high performance and engaged culture .
· Travel domestically and internationally upwards of 20%.
Education & Experience:
· Minimum : Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Management or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
· Preferred: Master's degree in supply chain management or business administration (MBA)
· 10 years+ of experience in demand/ supply/ inventory role(s)
· 5 years+ of experience leading team(s)
· Understanding of end-to-end planning and supply chain management
· Experience in using and improving ERP systems
· Knowledge of processes in sales, marketing, operations, finance, and manufacturing
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once
· Demonstrated ability to achieve KPIs like plan accuracy improvement, process adherence
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $150,000.00 and $170,000.00. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
