As the Senior Social Sales Manager, you will maximize total revenue potential for Miraval Berkshires across social and event sales segments with a focus on acquisition and developing strong relationships. We are looking for a social sales and events professional who is curious minded, energetic, passionate, and someone who loves researching to find new opportunities.

The Senior Social Sales Manager works closely with the Events Planning and the hotel operations team. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales & Events and be required to carry and achieve a quota and service groups. Senior Social Sales Manager works in conjunction with a National Sales team on positive sales growth for Miraval Berkshires. Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to sales and be a dynamic sales professional who will positively impact our business and clearly understand the Miraval brand
  • Strong selling, negotiation, prospecting and communication skills along with a detailed understanding of hotel operations.
  • Maximize total hotel revenue, including room revenue, banquet, spa, and programming
  • Manage strong relationships with senior decision-makers from key travel industry, PCO's, corporate accounts locally and regionally.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships across internal and external clients, and other market and industry sources
  • Plan, organize, and host familiarization, client events, team roadshows, and entertainment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Delphi FDC and/or Envisions.
  • Working closely with Miraval Regional Sales leadership to develop and implement strategies to maximize business
  • Must be able to travel 10-15% of the year
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

Qualifications

  • A self-starter who is highly driven, solutions orientated, persistent and adaptable to change
  • Excellent communication, relationship management and networking abilities
  • A proven track record in achieving targets and yield management
  • A collaborative and motivating leader of others with a strategic and analytical focus
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within a 4-5-star hotel sales environment
  • Ability to recognize trends and shift strategy to maximize results
  • Excellent emotional intelligence
  • Embraces wellness and well-being culture
  • Ability to identify unique selling points to separate experiences from the competition
  • Understanding of basic revenue management and KPI measurements
  • Has a passion for direct sales and willingness to jump in to assist in developing relationships and territories.
  • Understands that the Miraval clientele may vary from traditional hotels in regards to target audiences, size of group and intention of visit.
