The Opportunity
Under the direction of the Streaming Marketing Director, the Social Marketing Manager guides the media execution and analysis of our QVC+ & HSN+ paid and organic marketing efforts in social channels such as Facebook, Insta, TikTok and Pinterest. You will work with internal and external partners to guide channel best practices and will influence users' actions and sentiment. The Social Manager is a subject matter expert that is analytical, creative, and up to date on the latest trends in marketing.

As Qurate Retail Group's newest business unit, vCommerce Ventures is designed to accelerate our innovation in livestream commerce and establish our leadership in this space while also supporting the continued expansion of QVC's and HSN's linear video commerce ("vCommerce") experiences to new audiences. vCommerce includes video-driven shopping across linear TV, ecommerce sites, digital streaming and social platforms. vCommerce Ventures brings together livestream commerce teams and initiatives from across QVC and HSN into a separate, global business unit, with dedicated marketing, business development, content development and production, programming, planning, and merchandising resources. Your Impact
- Lead the Paid Social program across QVC+ & HSN+ streaming service driving daily active users and revenue, providing creative direction, and diversifying the program
- Responsible for co-managing marketing budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility, understands and inspires higher Return on investment and profitability of Paid Social investment
- Identify program opportunities (i.e. new platforms, new ad units) and work with internal and external partners to evolve and grow program
- Provide targeting strategy and direction and communicate with the CRM/Campaign management teams. Drive customer segmentation/targeting strategy for all projects and campaigns
- Develop and analyze detailed measurements/reporting to support Paid Social Marketing goals. Oversee Paid Social testing roadmap
- Work with Consumer Insights/Business Intelligence team to interpret metrics/results from multiple reporting tools, including marketing attribution, and proposes new direction/initiative to improve outcomes through ongoing testing
- Use analysis to make program optimizations and enhancements
- Lead the testing of creative content, copy, audience targeting, and campaign set-up to optimize campaign performance
- Responsible for daily management of platform vendors and marketing plans with all external and internal partners
- Manage relationships with META, TikTok, Pinterest, and all other vendor Paid Social vendors
- Primary contact for our teams planning/programming, QVC/HSN Marketing teams, legal, consumer insights/business intelligence, creative, agencies
- Develop relationships with internal QVC/HSN Merchandising, e-commerce, Creative, Operations, and Planning teams
- Attend regular meetings with cross-function teams and provide reporting deliverables and ongoing education and updating on best practices as they relate to digital marketing
What You Bring
- 5+ years' experience in online marketing, paid social marketing, eCommerce or relationship marketing
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, eCommerce, Merchandising, or related field
- Experience working with data analytics tools (Google Analytics, Omniture, Coremetrics)
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally within the Marketing and Streaming Commerce teams
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Must be an active team player within a cross-functional team
- Experience managing marketing budgets
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint)
For New York City based roles only: The annual gross base salary range for this position is $93,000 - $148,000. Salary ranges are general guideline only, and actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience and geographic location as well as business and market conditions. At Qurate Retail Group, salary is just one component of a comprehensive Total Rewards package that might include an annual bonus, long term incentives, a robust benefits package (inclusive of health & welfare), 401K match, tuition reimbursement and company discounts — plus an amazing culture!
